Active Display

Instead of a blinking light that doesn't actually tell you anything, information quietly appears on the screen. You don't have to wake your phone to look at the time or see your messages. But the active display is also smart enough to know when it's in your pocket or when it's placed face down so it won't deliver notifications, saving on battery power. As soon as you take it out of your pocket or turn it over, it discretely pulses with the time and any notifications you've received.
When you need a little more info, just touch the notification icon and details will appear on the top and bottom of the screen. Drag the icon up and the app associated with the notification will open. Drag the icon left or right to make them all go away.

Excellent Phone

This is my first smartphone and I am entirely satisfied. At the AmazonWireless price, the phone is a bargain that can not be beat. At the AT&T price, I might have expected more (not that I can think of what more I could expect from a mobile device). Be sure to make all of the updates before trying anything too complex like syncing with a personal computer. The touchscreen is very responsive and provides clear, rich screen resolutions. The speaker is very good as is call clarity even with minimal reception. Download speeds are more then satisfactory from both WiFi and AT&T (at least in DC). Function speed is amazing thanks to the dual core. Battery life is respectable given what the phone is capable of doing. You really can't go wrong with this phone at AmazonWireless's price. This is probably getting outdated with the recently announced Atrix which is loaded with 4x processor speed. Nevertheless the milestone is my first smartphone and its a wonderful experience using it - thoughtful UI and apps load reasonably fast. I could update to Android 2.2 as well Full Review

Xoom is boom
Great device. Unfortunately the first one would not charge. As always, Amazon customer service was awesome and replacement was promptly sent.

1. Battery is great. Charges fast and lasts for several hours.
2. Fast and responsive.
3. Easy to setup (Less than a minute, in my case).
4. Easy to use. Alot of people are saying that there is a learning curve. I don't see it. There is nothing complicated about using this device.
5. Screen is a fingerprint magnet. However, the display is awesome.
6. It is heavy (after awhile).
7. Kindle is better for reading.
8. Speakers are kind of weak, but that is what head phones are for.
9. Couple of bugs in the OS. Force restarts, lock ups, etc.
10. Having the power button on the back is a drag, and, as many, many people have said, What was Motorola thinking when they designed that?

As more apps roll out, and the bugs in the OS are fixed, the Xoom will be (even more) awesome.
My choice was between iPad2 and the Xoom. I just couldn't get locked into Apple's proprietary world.

I don't regret the purchase at all. I recommend the Xoom if you are in the market for a tablet. BUT, you have to realize, it is a TABLET. It is a NOT a desktop, workstation or netbook. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!  Full Review

Good phone good price

If your looking for a simple phone this is it. Ive had trouble getting picture messages on it but i think its because of the phone company i use. As for internet speed its very slow but it surprisingly does play youtube videos. You cannot download apps with this phone (that i know of)

One thing about the dual sim is you wont get your second line as call waiting if your using the first, it'll instead show up as a missed call or voice mail, but this is dual standy which means BOTH sims are always on.

Overall this is a nice phone its solid, definitely not ugly, and it has a very comfortable keyboard. Full Review
